On certain passenger and sport utility vehicles, the cover bolts for the engine oil control valve may not be sufficiently tightened, allowing oil to leak from around the cover gasket.
Consequencs:
If leaking oil contacts components operating at high temperatures, a fire could result in the engine compartment.
Notes:

(subaru) is conducting a recall of certain model year 2003-2004 legacy, outback, and baja vehicles as well as certain 2004 impreza (including wrx/sti) vehicles, equipped with takata-brand front passenger air bag inflators. upon deployment of the passenger side frontal air bag, excessive internal pressure may cause the inflator to rupture.
Consequencs:
In the event of a crash necessitating deployment of the passenger side frontal air bag, the inflator could rupture with metal fragments striking and potentially seriously injuring the vehicle occupants.
Notes:
