Description:
American honda motor co., inc. (honda) is recalling certain model year 2013 accord vehicles that are low-emission vehicle (lev) ii rated that were manufactured january 15, 2013, through april 5, 2013. the fuel tank neck may be out of specification causing the fuel pump to not properly seal to the fuel tank.
Consequencs:
An insufficent seal may led to a fuel leak which increases the risk of a fire.
Notes:
Honda will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fuel tank, nut and o-ring gasket free of charge. the recall began during august 2013. honda's recall number is ja9. owners may contact honda at 1-310-783-2000.

Description:
American honda motor company (honda) is recalling certain model year 2002-2003 civic, cr-v and odyssey vehicles, and model year 2003 accord, element, pilot, and acura mdx vehicles to address a safety defect in the passenger side frontal air bag which may produce excessive internal pressure causing the inflator to rupture upon deployment of the air bag.
Consequencs:
In the event of a crash necessitating deployment of the passenger's frontal air bag, the inflator could rupture with metal fragments striking and potentially seriously injuring the passenger seat occupant or other occupants.
Notes:
Honda will notify owners, and dealers will replace the passenger air bag inflator, free of charge. interim notices are expected to be mailed at the end of january 2015. the recall began on january 21, 2015. owners may contact honda customer service at 1-800-999-1009. note: this is an expansion of nhtsa recall no. 13v-132.
